Crippled by Fear
And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?
…Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth. Luke 21:7, 26
Are you crippled by fear? Do you so fear the end time prophecies that you dread that day and pray against it? Do terms like “the vengeance of our God[1]” make you want to cover your ears and shut your eyes? Do you dread the daily news? Will Christendom be plunged into a new Dark Age as globalists rise to enslave the remaining free people of the world? Will the United States fall into the hands of those who hold the trillions of dollars debt note? Will the debt-ridden US citizenry legally lose the protections of their Constitution? What do you fear?
Evangelical Christian, where is your Good News? Are you still hoping and praying that the inevitable will not come in your lifetime?
You say, “It must come. Ya’ know, ‘as it was in the days of Noah…’[2]”
Must we be reminded of who was destroyed in Noah’s flood?
The feet of iron and clay of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream are stomping nation after nation in our day [3]. We must learn to pray as Daniel prayed:
And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: 4 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments; 5 We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: …
O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations,…
O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive;
O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God:
for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.
Daniel 9:3-19
Are not the Christian nations of the world called by His Name? Has not the Gospel of Jesus Christ been carried by them to all the world? Is not the Creator’s Name mocked because of our nations’ sins!
Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
Gather the people…
and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD,
and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them:
wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

Did I hear you say, “That was for Bible times. We, in the Last Days, cannot pray this way. The Lord cannot repent of His judgments in our day. Jesus spoke it.”
THAT IS THE FEAR THAT CRIPPLES YOU!
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision:
for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake:
but the LORD will be the hope of his people
Joel 3:14-16
Do we bury our heads and hope to be spirited out of this judgment day? Or, do we bury our heads and hope to stay hidden in the hills and caves of the earth?
There is work to be done! His Name is blasphemed every day because Christian nations allow their foundations to crumble.
Begin as Daniel did, in personal repentance, then repent for the sins of your nation. Gather others to join you in prayer. The result will be as the prophet Joel has said:
Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people…
I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered
Joel 2:18, 28 – 32
Christian, put away your crippling fear.
